Details:
This Respite is for parents with a special needs child. Special Friends volunteers will provide care for Special Friends kids while their parents take time to run errands, spend time with other children, or go out to dinner.
The theme for the respite will be Super Heroes. Special Friends and volunteers will watch the Disney movie The Incredibles, visit with superhero characters, eat snacks and sing karaoke.
Special Friends will receive a cape or may come dressed as their favorite superhero.
- Volunteers are needed ages high school and older.
REGISTRATION
- Register your Special Needs child by Thursday, May 5.
- Register as a Volunteer by Monday, May 2.
