Pastor Chris Burch will introduce himself to current grade 5 students in the Chapel on Sunday, May 21. He’ll also invite them to Connect with Chris, on Promotion Sunday, June 4. Parents, we encourage you to attend with your student!
During Connect with Chris, you’ll get to learn more about Chris and discover how your student can Connect with God, Connect with Others, and Connect through Serving.
HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT
Parents – choose to attend the 9 or 11 am service with your student at South Campus and check in.
- If you come to the 9 am service, please stay after for the meeting.
- If you come to the 11 am service, please arrive early for the meeting.
- We'll have donuts for students and breakfast biscuits for parents.
10:15–10:45 am. Parents meet with Middle School Pastor Chris Burch in the South Campus Gym. Students are encouraged to attend with parents.
Chris will discuss:
- Life as students transition from elementary to adolescence
- The Middle School Ministry’s role in partnering with families.
- How to help get your student connected through Sunday mornings, Community Groups, and camp.
- Volunteer opportunities in Middle School Ministry.
We'll be sure to set aside time to play games and meet other students and leaders in the South Campus lobby.
