Brookwood Women are partnering with A Home for MeDSS and The Dream Center Santa Shoppe Assistance Program.

When parents can't care for their children, relatives or close family friends often step in, invite the child into their home and provide love and support. A Home for Me is a Christian non-profit organization that comes alongside kinship families through their foster and adoption journey with resources and support. Their goal is for every South Carolina child to have a safe, loving, Christian home. Brookwood Women will be providing Christmas Dinner for 75 foster families and 60 snack bags for children during their transition from home to placement.

The Dream Center encourages, educates and empowers people in need through the love of Jesus Christ, by providing a hand-up instead of a hand-out. Free classes include parenting, Bible study, budgeting, health, nutrition, exercise, parenting, basic life skills and more. The Santa Shoppe program assists approximately 100 families with Christmas gifts for their children. This referral-based program allows qualifying parents to attend free classes and earn a Christmas shopping voucher to get gifts for their children.
