How to Prepare Your Family:

• Prepare
  Pick up the ingredients (rice, beans and chicken) for Wednesday's dinner and plan to cook the rice, beans and chicken together as a family. Invite your kids into the kitchen and make them part of the experience. Let them know the meal will be simple and explain that many families around the world enjoy meals like this every day.
• Video
  Watch the video above together as a family. It will help you understand why we’re sharing this simple meal as a church family and how meals like this are part of everyday life for many families served by our Global partners.
• Discuss
  As you sit down to eat, take time to talk together about what you learned on Impact Sunday and from the video. Discuss how the generosity of our church family helps support ministries that care for children and families, meet practical needs and share the love of Christ around the world.
• Pray
  Before or after your meal, gather your family and pray for Brookwood partners. Thank God for the work they are doing to serve children and families. Ask Him to give them strength, wisdom and the resources they need as they care for their communities. You can also ask God to show your family ways you can care for others.
